Stokoe Farms 'The Dark Side of the Farm' is the perfect place for you and your family to enjoy The Great North American Eclipse! This will be a full day of FUN, ACTIVITIES, ANIMALS and more!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, join us at Stokoe Farms as we entertain your family all day long.  While the eclipse will last over 2 hour from start to finish, your kiddos will want to run and play.  This is a day that your family and friends will never forget!

Monday April 8th, gates open at 9 am and activities begin at 10 am and run through 5 pm.  The farm will close at 6 pm.  Tickets are $35.00 pp and parking pass will be requied.  See below for more information.
*Purchase Tickets for Monday April 8th, and you will have access to the farm all three days!  That's right!  You can come all three days for the $35 pass price.  You don't need to do anything but show your April 8th pass at the door!

In Town for the Weekend, or entertaining Family and Friends?
The farm will be OPEN Sunday, 7th from 10 am to 4 pm for activities, animals, and more.  Tickets are $20.00 pp and parking pass is not required.

Activities

With over 20 Activities included with Admission, your family will have endless FUN all day long.  Activities are good for adults and kiddos alike and include; Bee Zip Lines, Bounce Pillows, Low Ropes Course, Straw Fort and Slide, Billy Goat Mountain Area, Sports Center, Nature Trail with Tree House, Climbing Pyramid, Bear Playground, Hillbilly Hen Chicken Show, Wagon Rides, Stokoe Farms Express Train, and so much more!

Plus, upgrade your experience and challenge your family at our Paintball Target Range, or pan for treasures at our Gemstone Mining Building.

On Monday, April 8th, be sure to meet Munchkin Mike Peer our Live DJ and Master of Ceremonies who will be playing music, giving out prizes, playing games, and keeping everyone aprised of the moon's progression.  Dance CONTEST, TRIVIA, MUSIC, PRIZES, and two FOAM PARTIES will be part of the celebration!

How Will Our Animals React During the Eclipse?  Come See!

We have ANIMALS!  Guests love our Petting Zoo during our fall, and our animals are looking forward to meeting our guests.  Come meet our Emu pair, Hank the African Crested Porcupine, Goats, Miniature Donkey and Mule, and more.  Head down to the Kangaroo Pasture to visit with our mob of Kangaroos and Wallabies!

REALLY LOVE ANIMALS!?! Treat your family to a Private Animal Encounter.  Get the rare opportunity to cuddle with a Joey Kangaroo, meet our Sulcatta Tortoise, Russian Tortoise, Bearded Dragon, two species of Armadillos, Guinea Pigs, Bunnies, and Pip our Patagonian Mara.  Encounter times sell out quickly, booking ahead of time is suggested.

Private Animal Encounters

Love our Petting Zoo Animals?  Want to hold a Joey Kangaroo, pet a Wallaby, or feel the prickly back of a Hedgehog?  Book a Private Animal Encounter while at the farm during the Eclipse!

Treat your family to time spent in our heated private encounter tent, where you can cuddle and hold some our amazing farm animals.  Your friends and family will proclaim holding a Joey Kangaroo is the best day ever!  Our animal ambassadors will teach you amazing facts about our mob of Kangaroos & Wallabies, Sulcatta Tortoise, baby Lamb & Goat, Russian Tortoise, Bearded Dragon, Guinea Pigs, Hedgehogs, and Blueberry the much loved Rabbit. They all look forward to seeing you at YOUR Private Animal Encounter!  

Food & Drink

Stokoe Farms has you covered in the food and drink department. 'The Old Barn Grill' will be serving up BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Fingers, and more. Fresh Squeezed Lemonade, Gourmet Hot Chocolate, Donuts, Kettle Corn, and made-on-the-farm Fudge will satisfy your sweet tooth!

Colby's Catering will be offering a secondary food location in our main courtyard on Monday. Check back for their offerings. Visit The Beer Wagon, and their selection of local brews, hard ciders, as well as NYS wines.

Getting Here and Parking

Stokoe Farms is conveniently located just 15 minutes south of the Rochester Airport, with easy access to Interstate 490 & 390, as well as the NYS Thruway. Stokoe Farms is located away from the city center and more populated suburban areas, but just 15 to 20 minutes south of these areas, thus making travel to the farm easy and convenient!  Our farm has the advantage of zero light pollution, making sure you have the very best view of the eclipse.

Our spacious farm offers ample parking for over 850 vehicles.  The farthest parking spot is only 220 yards from the main enterance and activities.  As all guests will ultimately be at the farm at one time, we are encouraging families to carpool to Stokoe Farms when possible.  Parking Passes for MONDAY April 8th must be pre-registered ahead of time to guarantee a parking spot.  Vehicles limited to 22 ft long.
